The annual European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR) is the main European forum for the presentation of new research results in the field of Information Retrieval. In 2023, the forty fifth ECIR conference (ECIR 2023) will be held in Dublin, Ireland from the 2nd to the 6th of April 2023. The conference is being held at the Radisson Blu hotel in Dublin city centre. The conference banquet is taking place at the Westin Hotel Dublin, in the core of the city centre, and for the welcome reception we are hiring the Teeling Distillery, right in the heart of the Golden Triangle, the historic distilling district of the city, and just 15 minutes walking away from the conference venue.
Since 1978, ECIR has successfully brought together leading researchers and developers from the information retrieval community in Europe and increasingly in recent years from across the world. The conference focuses on established and emerging problems in the field of information retrieval and helps to shape future research directions through the publication of high quality, applied and theoretical research findings.
ECIR 2023 will feature a high quality programme including long and short papers, posters, demonstrations, workshops & tutorials and an Industry Day. Attendees at ECIR will be exposed to results and experiences from the latest research and be able to network with the leading researchers and practitioners in the field of information retrieval.
ECIR offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities suitable for organisations of all sizes. Sponsors of ECIR gain visibility for their companies and contribute to the success of the conference. Four levels of sponsorship are available at ECIR 2023 and bring the following benefits:
In-kind sponsorships (from €500 to €10,000) that directly defray the costs of the conference are also welcome. These may, for example, take the form of student travel scholarships, award sponsorships, receptions, or the conference banquet). In these cases, the sponsor name is prominently displayed at the sponsored activity, in the proceedings and the conference programmes as well as being identified as the appropriate level of sponsor (see above). Potential sponsors should send an e-mail to the email@example.com including details of the person to contact, telephone number, return e-mail address, level of sponsorship desired.
