An additional call for ECIR support grants is now open. The grant program provides a very limited number of stipends to cover the paid registration fees or offset some travel costs for researchers who wish to attend the ECIR 2023 in Dublin, but for whom the costs would be prohibitive.
Grant applications should be submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org before 14th February 2023, with the email title “ECIR’23 Support Grants”. Applicants will be notified about the selection results within two weeks of submission.
The required documents are (to be sent in a single pdf file):
a grant application document (1 page max.) containing the following info:
Full name, address, university,
CV related to the conference topics,
Statement on why attending ECIR 2023 will be beneficial to you and why you are seeking this support grant,
Whether you will be presenting your work and in what form (Oral Presentation, Poster, Demo),
Did you submit a paper? If yes, is your paper accepted?
This is a very limited fund and dependent on the level of sponsorship recieved, so we do not expect to make many awards. When the funds are depleted, we can not offer any more supports.
VISA: If you need a conference invitation letter for your visa, please contact email@example.com. In case your visa office will not accept electronically transmitted invitation letters, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
